All organizational and individual members of the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT) must agree to the following terms and conditions. ICIT retains the right to terminate individual / corporate membership of any member in serious breach of these terms and conditions.

1. ICIT invites organizations and individuals with an interest and/or experience in Critical Infrastructure to request membership to the organization. Upon acceptance, new members must pay their first month’s membership dues in order for their membership benefits to begin.

2. Once approved and accepted, membership is valid for one year and renewable annually on the anniversary of the member’s membership start date. Membership dues are automatically charged on the member’s credit card each month on monthly anniversary date.

3. Membership will be suspended once payment is more than one month in arrears. If a member pays the membership fee within three months of the due date, the individual membership will then restart – and be renewable annually − from that new date. The only requirement for rejoining within this time period will be payment of the annual subscription (the current year amount). If a suspended member does not rejoin within three months of the due date, the membership will be deemed to have been terminated.

4. Members may cancel their membership by written notice (e-mail is an acceptable form of notification) at any time during their 1 year membership 30-days prior to their next billing cycle.  Failure to submit a request of cancellation less than 30-days prior to the billing cycle will require full payment of the next month’s membership dues as a final payment before membership is cancelled.

5. Only named members may attend ICIT functions and use the ICIT logo / name.

6.Members may bring one guest to most member events via advance registration. Some events do not allow guests and this will be stated on the website at the point of registration. ICIT will communicate guest rules per-event.

7. Members are permitted to list their affiliation as an ICIT member or ICIT Fellow (depending on their membership level) and use the ICIT Logo on résumés, in publications, on websites and for other biographical purposes. Members may join groups within networking and social media websites and show an affiliation to ICIT, for example on Facebook. However, to protect the integrity of our Legislative Briefings, members are not permitted to use their ICIT affiliation on their personal business cards, or when writing articles or giving media interviews, or on other public platforms unless they have the specific approval of a Senior Fellow.

8. It is not permitted to distribute literature or marketing materials atan ICIT function that have not been authorized by the institute.
