ICIT met separately with Congressmen Alex Mooney (WV) and Congressmen Chris Van Hollen (MD) (respectively) to hand deliver copies of ICIT’s Threat Information sharing brief late last week. The brief was also sent to members of the Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus in anticipation of this week’s votes on the Protecting Cyber Networks Act and the Protecting National Cybersecurity Advancement Act, both of which passed the House today and will now be sent to the Senate.
“At a time when the Country is defending itself against mounting cyber attacks, ICIT’s advisory in the cybersecurity domain provides the legislative community objective expertise to help them ensure the continued resiliency of our Nation’s Critical Infrastructures and the security of its citizens.” said Parham Eftekhari, a Sr. Fellow with ICIT.
